OIT TelePhone Services
The Voice Systems Team, along with OIT Account Managers, the Service Coordinators and Field Technicians, provide design and installation of voice systems for campus departments.
Next generation voice systems, Cellular/PDA-based mobile office services, and wireless Local Area Networks are becoming integrated to provide “anytime/anywhere” access to IT resources, including email and calendaring services. New campus voice systems are being implemented that use Internet Protocol (IP) for campus and global connections. Unified messaging for email, voicemail and text is also being rolled out. OIT Telephone Services is working to enhance the functionality of these resources and make them more universally available to campus.
