This service is available for everyone. You do not need to live in an on-campus residence to participate in the savings.

Additional Information
- Each apartment is equipped with one active telephone and data location. Costs for these services are included as part of the standard rental agreement for all USA apartments.
- More than one phone jack may already exist in each unit. If a resident wants additional line it is their responsibility to order it through Qwest (our local telephone company).
- USA residents may order a second phone line through Qwest at an additional cost by calling 1-800-244-1111; you will be billed directly for this service. Your second telephone number will have a different prefix outside of the University's campus telephone system (no 5-digit dialing).
- Residents will be able to use their phone and Internet at the same time.
- Residents who have more than one phone or want to locate their phone at a location other than where their modem is located will be supplied one filter from OIT. Additional filters will be available for a minimal cost through OIT.
- Residents will be responsible to provide their own telephone set.
- Each apartment will be assigned a phone number through OIT. This phone number will be the property of OIT and will remain with the apartment when the resident moves.
- Voice messaging is not available through OIT. Residents will need to provide their own phone with a built-in answering machine or separate answering machine unit.
