UConnect Wireless Network - Clientless Authentication

Manual UConnect Configuration for Mac OS X 10.5.x (aka Leopard)

 

  • Go to upper left apple menu and choose System Preferences

 

Step 1


  • Click Network

 

Step 2

 

  • Select Airport and click Advanced

 

Step 3

 

  • Select the 802.1x tab, click the plus sign to add a new user profile, give it a name like UConnect:PEAP

 

Step 4

 

  • Enter your uNID, and Password
  • Select UConnect from the wireless network drop down
  • Uncheck EAP-TTLS

 

Step 5

 

  • Click the Airport tab, click plus to add a new network name, and enter details as shown
  • Click Add 
  • Click OK

 

Step 6

 

  • From the network drop down click UConnect, then click Apply

 

Step 7

 

  • You should see Status: Authenticated
