UConnect Wireless Network - Clientless Authentication

MANUAL CONFIGURATION FOR MAC OS X 10.6.X (AKA SNOW LEOPARD)

 

  • Go to the upper right Airport Icon
  • Choose UConnect from the drop down menu

 

Step 1


  • Enter Your Credentials (uNID and password)

 

Step 2

 

  • Accept the Certificate

 

Step 3

 

Note: You should connect to UConnect shortly. If this does not happen, check your profile.

 

  • Go to the upper left Apple menu and choose System Preferences

 

Step 4

 

  • Click on the Network icon

 

Step 5

 

  • Verify that you are connected
  • Select Airport to the left
  • Click Advanced

 

Step 6

 

  • Click on the 802.1X tab
  • Select the WPA:UConnect profile
  • Verify that PEAP is the only Protocol checked.

 

Step 7

 

  • Select the Configure Trust button

 

Step 8

 

  • Select the Servers tab
  • Click on the "+"
  • Enter radius01.utah.edu and also radius02.utah.edu
  • Click OK

 

Step 9

 

  • Hit OK twice and click Apply and you are done!
