Manual UConnect Configuration for Mac OS X 10.4.x (aka Tiger)

Setting UConnect on Mac OS 10.4
Mac OS X by default will choose PEAP and configure itself; the only thing the user will see is the pop-up window asking them to accept the certificate.

Click on the wireless icon located in the top tool bar

Click on the UConnectSSID

Step 1

The AirPort window appears. Enter your uNID as your username and password in the correct fields

 

Step 2

 

Click OK. The Verify Certificate window appears

 

Step 4

Click Show Certificate to see the Entrust certificate authority information

 

Step 4

 

  • Check the Always trust these certificates box. Click Continue
  • Click Connect
  • You should see authenticating in the Status field, followed shortly by Connected via PEAP (Inner Protocol: MSCHAPv2)
