Manually Configure your Nokia (Symbian s60) Device

  • Select the Menu button in the lower left corner

 

Step 1

 

  • Select Settings > Connection > Access Points > New access point

  • Connection name: UConnect

  • Select the Entrust.net Secure Server CA

  • Enter your uNID

  • Move the button at the top from Settings to EAPs.  Put the check next to EAP-MSCHAPv2 move it to the top of the list, and uncheck all other EAP types.  Then click EAP-MSCHAPv2

  • Enter your uNID, set prompt to No, and enter your password
  • Click Back all the way to the home screen

  • Click Refreshing

  • Select Search for WLAN

  • Choose UConnect

  • Select Start web browsing

Note: You may receive an error message that states "Web: No gateway reply". Ignore this message if it occurs.

 

  • Click Go To in the lower left, type in a web address (like www.utah.edu) and click Go To again.
