UConnect Wireless Network - Windows 7
Configuring Windows 7
- Right click the wireless icon in the lower right side of the task bar.

- Click Open Network and Sharing Center.

- Click Manage wireless networks.

- Click Add.

- Click Manually create a network profile.

- Specify UConnect for the network name, WPA2-Enterprise for the security type, AES for the encryption type.
- Verify that Start this connection automatically is checked.
- Click Next.

- Click Change Connection settings.

- Click Advanced settings

- Set the authentication mode to User or computer authentication
- Click OK

- Verify that the authentication method is set to Microsoft Protected EAP (PEAP).
- Verify that the box below is checked.
- Click Settings.

- Verify the 5 boxes are checked as shown below.
- Specify the following server names: radius01.utah.edu;radius02.utah.edu.
- Click Configure.

- Uncheck the box and click ok.

- Click ok twice then close to save the changes.
- When the box below pops up, click details to verify that you are authenticating against the university radius server and using the correct Root CA.
- Click Connect.

- When prompted, enter your uNID and password.
