Setting Up uconnect with the Dell WLAN UtilityFor Windows XP and Vista
- Right click on the bars icon in the tool tray (by the clock) and select Open Utility.

- This will open the Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility window which will also show a list of preferred networks.
- To add or create a preferred network click the Add button and choose the Use Utility (advanced network)

- In the Network name (SSID) field type 'uconnect.utah.edu.'
- For the Network authentication select WPA-Enterprise.
- Set the EAP method to PEAP and the Inner EAP method to MS-CHAP v2.
- Click the User Name/Password tab.
- In the Domain\User Name field, enter your uNID.
- Enter your uNID password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.

- Click on the Server Identity tab.
- Check the box for Validate server certificate.
- Click the Select button next to Issuer.
- Click on the Entrust.net certificate option that will show up, then click OK.

- Click OK at the bottom of the window.
- You should now see uconnect in the list of preferred networks.
- Click OK at the bottom of the Dell WLAN Utility window.
- Right click on the bars icon in your tool tray (by the clock).
- Select Connect To and choose the uconnect.utah.edu network.
