Installing 802.1x Wireless Clients - uconnect network
uconnect Wireless Network after Fall Semester 2007
Note: Use of the uconnect network no longer requires the installation of client software. See the uconnect No-Client Configuration instructions for information on how to configure your device without a wireless client.
Installation Instructions for supported Clients
Users who choose to may install and configure supported 802.1x clients as per these instructions to access the uconnect.utah.edu campus wireless network.
Supported clients are available for Mac OS X, Windows XP, PPC, and Linux. Once the client software is installed and configured, the machine/device seeks an 802.1x compliant network and automatically authenticates the user on to the network. The authentication and the session are both encrypted. This network's SSID is uconnect.utah.edu. Click on the appropriate link below for installation instructions for your client.
