Troubleshooting

The Internet is based on local networks linked together to form a world wide network. In order to access it from your home computer, you must first establish a link to a local network.

The Windows 2000 operating system provides a way to establish a PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) connection which provides a network link between your computer at home and the computer at school. Once you have established this link you can then run your internet software.
