How to Configure Eudora 6 for IMAP - Macintosh OS X

  1. Special -> Settings
  2. Click on the Checking Mail section.
  3. Type your 'uNID@umail.utah.edu' in the User Name field.
  4. Type 'imap.umail.utah.edu' in the Mail Host field.
  5. Select IMAP for Mail Protocol.

  1. Click on the Sending Mail section.
  2. Type your email address in the Email Address field.
  3. Type 'smtp.umail.utah.edu' in the SMTP Server field.
  4. Put a check in the Allow authorization field.

  1. Click on the SSL section.
  2. Select Required (TLS) for SSL for SMTP.
  3. Select Required ( Alternate Port) for SSL for IMAP.
  1. Click OK.

  1. Special -> Settings

  4. Type 'pop.umail.utah.edu' in the Mail Host field.
  5. Select POP for Mail Protocol.

  1. Click on the Sending Mail section.
  2. Type your email address in the Email Address field.
  3. Type 'smtp.umail.utah.edu' in the SMTP Server field.
  4. Put a check in Allow authorization.

  1. Click on the SSL section.
  2. Select Required ( Alternate Port) for SSL for POP.
  3. Select Required (TLS) for SSL for SMTP.

Click OK.
