Configure how data is pushed to the iPhone

  1. In Settings, tap Fetch New Data.
  2. To turn the Push feature on or off, tap the On/Off switch.
  3. Set how often the data is pushed/retrieved by the iPhone when push is off or for applications which don’t support push in the Fetch section.
  4. Use Advanced settings to control the Fetch/Push for each of the email accounts you have set up.

Note: turning on Push can drain the battery quickly.  If increased battery life is important to you, you may want to set your email to sync manually.  It does take a little longer.
