You can contact us at 581-4000 option 1, or by sending email to helpdesk@utah.edu.  Non-urgent calls should be made during normal business hours.  Campus Help Desk agents can  reset passwords during business hours, but users can reset their passwords at anytime in the Campus Information System after logging in.

TTY/TDD Option

For those needing to use a Text Telephone or TTY, you can reach the Help Desk at 581-4147 Monday through Friday from 9 am - 6 pm. This TTY line has an answering machine for after-hours calls, as well.

after-hours support

For after-hours OIT-related computer, network and telephone urgencies that require an immediate response, please call 581-4000 option 1, and press the option for your problem.  You will be able to leave a call-back message, including a description of the problem, your name and number, and building (if needed) for the on-call Technical Support or telephone technician.   You will also be able to hear scheduled outage information.
