About UIT's Streaming Media Services
UIT provides server space and consultation support for streaming media service providers across campus. UIT's primary focus is to handle the infrastructure and systems support for these organizations so that they can focus on providing streaming media services to the campus community.
In addition, we are investigating tools which will further the creation and adoption of web-based media across campus. In some cases we can also provide systems support and consulting services to departments or programs that have streaming media projects that can't be supported by one of the existing service providers.
