DHCP Configuration

Required DHCP settings

In order to receive dynamically allocated IP addresses for use with wired WANA connections or for long-range ethernet connections in the University Student Apartments, your network software must be configured to use Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).  In most newer operating systems, this is the default setting.

You can verify your network settings by checking the Network control panel (Windows) or the TCP/IP control panel (Macintosh).
