Managing DNS Data
This website is a point of access to the DNS data for the University of Utah and parts of Westnet. From this WWW interface, authorized users can view, add, modify, and delete DNS records, including the creation and modification of new zones. A, PTR, MX, CNAME, NS, and many other resource record types can also be created or modified from this site for zones that an individual may administer.
If you are responsible for the managing of DNS data within your department on a regular basis, you should consider requesting an account on this server. To do so, simply send email to nsmaint@lists.utah.edu and supply your name, department, phone number, and zones which you would like access to. You will be contacted prior to the acceptance of your request.

The tools are password protected to prevent unauthorized use. You can look at the tools, but you will not be able to run them without a password.
The current version of these tools is available for download for
use on your own DNS server. The tools require Perl 5.0 and a working knowledge
