Network Maintenance
SERVICES IMPACTED BY OUTAGE: This outage will affect the ENTIRE UEN network. Configuration changes to all the respective core sites will be needed to facilitate the addition of the new Snow POP.
DATE: Thursday, July 6th
DURATION: 4 Hours
START TIME: 11:00 PM
END TIME: 3:00 AM
DETAILS: Qwest and UEN networking staff will be moving one of the primary backbone connections onto the newly installed backbone devices at Snow College. In an effort to make Snow College a backbone POP, the southern leg of the UEN network will need to traverse the Snow College core routers. In addition, all of the backbone routers at the major POPS
will require a configuration change to recognize and use the new path.
