Summary:
online.uen.org was unavailable via University of Utah campus IP space beginning 8/27/08 10:56:01 MDT and ending 8/27/08 11:27:50 MDT, totaling 30 minutes and 49 seconds.
Description:
An unusually large amount of traffic triggered an auto-blocking rule in the universitys network security system. This is likely due to changes in the WebCT functions hosted by UEN for the university as compared to last year.
This does not appear to be a problem with the WebCT system. Allowances have been made for WebCT on the universitys network security system to prevent this from recurring.
