OUTAGE: Migrating to new DNS tools

DETAILS:
As previously announced on the it-managers list, we will be migrating our DNS tools to a new infrastructure Tuesday morning. This includes new web front end tools, new servers, etc. We expect this transition will be transparent to all users. While that means this is not expected to be an outage per se, we thought that the scope and potential impact of any issues with DNS warranted notification to this list.
If you notice any issues with DNS, please contact the Help Desk immediately at 1-4000. We will be watching for any issues and if any should arise, and will respond ASAP.
