Password Changes

If you are required to change your email password call the Campus Help Desk at 581-4000 option 1 to have a trouble ticket opened requesting a password change to your Mobile Office account.

Email and Calendar Size Limitations

Do not allow your email Inbox to contain more than 2,000 messages and more than 5,000 calendar items.

Outlook Client and GroupWise

If you are using the Outlook client for your GroupWise email, you may have an issue with using OIT Mobile Office. Outlook creates a secondary INBOX folder that conflicts with the GroupWise mailbox. This problem will need to be addressed through our support team before you can become a Mobile Office user.  Please call the Help Desk at 1-4000 option 1 to open a Trouble Ticket to address this. 

Loss of GPRS Signal for RIMs

RIM phones sometimes have to be restarted when they lose their GPRS signal. In certain zones, these devices do not receive a GPRS signal, and will go into an error status while attempting to retrieve email. This requires a soft reboot which can be done by removing the battery for 10 seconds.
