Mobile Office Ordering Instructions

Instructions

1. Order your device with a voice and data plan. Disable any security passwords that may have been applied to the device.

2. Fill out the Mobile Office Service Order. Configuration will be completed within 5 days after the service order is submitted.

3. A Mobile Office coordinator will contact the end user to schedule a time to drop off the PDA at 585 Komas.

  • Device must be activated and web application working before the device is dropped off.
  • Be aware that data and programs may be lost from the device during the Mobile Office setup process.
  • The email password must be provided to the coordinator at the time of drop off.
  • You will be without the device during the time it is being configured.

4. Once the device is set up, you will be contacted to schedule a pickup time. At this time, the coordinator will instruct the end user on the use of Mobile Office on the device.

 

Support Notes

  • Password changes – If you change your email password, please provide the new password to a Mobile Office coordinator. Contact the Campus Help Desk at 1-4000 to arrange this.
  • Over – the – phone support limited to 15 min. at no charge. Contact the Campus Help Desk at 1-4000 option 1.
  • Reconfigures or extended troubleshooting - $40/hour. Campus Order required.
