Phone Sets for Departments
The University's various telephone systems each have a number of phone set options for you to choose from. These include Analog Sets, Digital Sets, IP sets, and soft phones. Each requires a telephone line and its associated charges. For information concerning pay phones, please speak to a service coordinator (1-4000,
option 2).
Centrex Sets
For desk phone sets, you may choose from Meridian or Toshiba sets (the Toshibas are being phased out). Digital Meridian sets include Caller ID as a basic feature. Single line sets also have Caller ID logging. Click here to see rates.
Coral Sets
You may choose from the 280S and 280 IP with 22 programmable buttons. There are also cordless options. Click here to see monthly rates.
Using your Telephone Set
OIT provides training on all features programmed to your telephone lines and sets as well as telephone etiquette training. Contact a Service Coordinator at 801-581-4000 for option 2 to schedule training.
