Students living on campus in Housing and Residential Education (HRE) housing or those living in University Student Apartments (USA) housing receive basic telephone service through the Office of Information Technology.
Each residential unit has one active telephone jack.
Residents must supply their own telephone sets.
Competitive long distance service is available through a third party pre-paid program.

prepaid long distance service - domestic and international
Utalk Prepaid Domestic & International Long Distance Service
We have partnered with MobileSphere to provide pre-paid domestic and international long distance calling from any residence, office, cell phone, and off-campus phone throughout the continental United States.
Domestic rates are .05 cents a minute.
International rates are very competitive.
