From the new MobileU app to the UIT Knowledge Base, here are five digital resources/services that students (and instructors) may find beneficial as the University of Utah gears up for fall semester classes.

The Strategic Information Technology Committee (SITC) met on July 14. The IT Architecture and New Technology Committee (ANTC) met on July 27. The Enterprise Web Advisory Council (EWAC) will meet again on August 13. SITC will reconvene September 8, while ANTC will meet again on September 28. The next Teaching and Learning Portfolio (TLP) meeting date is to be determined.

Starting in July 15, 2020, UIT will begin implementing Microsoft modern authentication and, in a phased approach, two-factor authentication (2FA) for UMail and university-licensed Microsoft applications. The U's IT professionals should be prepared to help users with the transition.
